With over 20 years of experience in the wedding industry and the privilege of being part of more than 1,000 weddings, I’ve had the opportunity to witness nearly every detail imaginable — from grand ballroom receptions to intimate garden celebrations.
One question I’ve been asked more than almost any other is: what makes a truly unforgettable tablescape? While personal style and trends will always evolve, one thing has remained constant throughout my career. Nothing compares to the warmth and elegance of florals paired with candlelight. What struck me most was how difficult it was for couples to find taper candles that were genuinely high quality — candles that burned cleanly, held their shape, and came in the kind of refined colour palette that modern weddings demand. So I decided to create Candlelit Occasions to fill that gap.
